One of the 11 children hospitalized at the National Center for Infectious Diseases has been discharged

One of the 11 children hospitalized at the National Center for Infectious Diseases with a preliminary diagnosis of "acute gastroenteritis" has been discharged from the hospital with parental consent. This information has been provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

The child's health condition has been assessed as satisfactory by doctors. He will continue treatment at home under the supervision of a pediatrician. Currently, 10 children are still receiving treatment at the medical center.

As a reminder, the 11 children from a kindergarten in Yerevan were admitted to the National Center for Infectious Diseases with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and general weakness. An epidemiological investigation is being conducted at the kindergarten to determine the cause. Sampling for laboratory testing is underway. Work is ongoing.
