Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Collision between Mercedes and Subaru, the latter flipped

A major car accident occurred today, June 8, in Yerevan. Around 16:25, at the intersection of Arin Berd and Tamantsineri streets, a collision took place between a Mercedes vehicle driven by 36-year-old Slavik Harutyunyan from Sisian and a Subaru vehicle driven by 41-year-old Edgar Badalyan from Yerevan.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the Subaru flipped upside down. Fortunately, preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries resulting from the accident.

Emergency response teams arrived promptly at the scene, including one fire and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan firefighting service. The information about the accident was relayed to the operational management center of the Yerevan traffic police by duty officer Karen Hovakimyan, who informed the 4th platoon of the 1st traffic police battalion. Inspectors Vahan Hovhannisyan and Artyom Aramyan were dispatched to the location. Representatives from the insurance companies also arrived swiftly.
