COVID-19 Update as of Today

As of June 8, 73 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infections to 223,285.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, there were no new deaths reported from COVID-19 in the past day, with the total death toll reaching 4,463.

Additionally, there have been no reported deaths from other illnesses among patients infected with the coronavirus in the last day. As of June 8, the total number of such deaths is 1,091. The overall death count has reached 5,554.

In the past day, 105 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 214,609. Currently, there are 3,122 active cases, a decrease of 32 from the previous day.

A total of 3,067 tests were conducted in the past day, making the overall number of tests conducted to date 1,108,066.
