Kovsakan (Zangilan) to Become a Hub of Cooperation between Azerbaijan, Israel, and Italy: George Dick
The Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan, George Dick, has visited Artsakh, specifically Kovsakan (Zangilan), and announced that it will become a center for cooperation between Azerbaijan, Israel, and Italy. The ambassador stated that a dairy farm run by an Israeli company will be built in Kovsakan, where Azerbaijan is creating a smart city. The products will later be transported to a nearby Italian factory for dairy production.
It is evident that dairy is the last thing that Israel is interested in near the Iranian border. For years, Tel Aviv has avoided supplying Azerbaijan with equipment for dairy production in order to maintain control over the entire border with Iran across Artsakh. The smart city presents a good opportunity for Israel to increase its presence near the Iranian border, which poses a direct threat to the national security of the Islamic Republic.
