Due to the Defeatist Government, Our Country Faces Serious Challenges: Arushanyan
The Mayor of Goris, Arush Arushanyan, has made a post on his Facebook page calling on supporters to gather in Goris Square on June 8 at 10:30 AM to meet with the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, and members of the Armenia alliance.
“Due to the defeatist government, our country is facing serious challenges. This government has shown that it is not only incapable of achieving success but is also proud of its major defeats. The enemy has openly invaded the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, and for a considerable time, we have seen that this government is unable to neutralize any threats posed to our country.
In these difficult times for the country, Syunik cannot remain indifferent, as we witness every day how our country is being fragmented and how parts are being handed over to the enemy. The trials that have befallen us should never weaken us; we do not have the right to be defeated. We must and can strengthen ourselves, be reborn, and develop.
I want to inform you that I have joined the ‘Armenia’ alliance; why? Because the leaders of the ‘Armenia’ alliance are capable of ensuring the REBIRTH OF ARMENIA. I am confident that our political team will be able to create an atmosphere of trust and unity and will fight fairly for the progress of our country.
I call on all my supporters and those who trust me to be in Goris Square tomorrow, June 8, at 10:30 AM to meet with the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, and members of the Armenia alliance. We do not have the right to despair; with care for one another, we must look forward and decisively lay the groundwork for a strong state based on a national program to pull the country out of this situation.”
