Using the term 'corridor' is a crime, says Kocharian
We should absolutely refrain from using the term 'corridor.' This was stated by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, during his visit to the Shirak region.
'When we use the term corridor, it’s as if we are saying that a certain part does not belong to us. What corridor in our territory? The term 'corridor' is used by Azerbaijanis because they view it as an opportunity for a corridor. Therefore, we should not say that the railway should not be opened; let it be opened, but using the term corridor is simply a criminal act,' Robert Kocharian said.
He emphasized that discussions should occur regarding the opening of routes without preconditions, but never about a corridor.
