EU Ambassador Meets with State Revenue Committee Representatives at the Border

On the second day of his visit to Syunik Province, Ambassador Victorin was in Meghri, according to the EU's Armenian office.

At the Armenian-Iranian state border, the ambassador met with representatives of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia to discuss planned work on modernizing the Meghri border checkpoint, funded by the EU in partnership with the EBRD.

Ambassador Victorin emphasized the significance of this key connectivity project for the EU, the EBRD, and the citizens of Armenia.

The parties agreed to commence construction work at the checkpoint as soon as possible.
