Azerbaijan Publishes Updated Figures on War Casualties

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has released updated figures regarding human losses incurred during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War. According to minval.az, the number of Azerbaijani servicemen killed has reached 2,900. It is noted that these figures pertain to soldiers buried until June 2, 2021. Additionally, it has been reported that 14 soldiers remain missing.

The ministry has indicated that the search and identification process for the missing soldiers is ongoing.
