Video Involving Naked Man in Police Station Is Not New: Details

The Deputy Head of Police Ara Fidanyan stated today during a press briefing with journalists in the National Assembly that the video involving a naked man in a police station was recorded last September.

"There is no case of torture. If I'm not mistaken, the individual in question had some mental health issues. He came to the police station under those circumstances and was trying to perform some disproportionate actions within the police department," Fidanyan said.

According to him, it is not excluded that footage from other countries may later be presented as events occurring in any department of the Armenian police.
