Such Incidents Should Be Investigated: Did the Bear Cub Attack or Defend?

The recent incident involving the death of a bear cub must be thoroughly examined to clarify the actual events that transpired. The team from the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Values (FPWC) and its founder, Ruben Khachatryan, are hopeful that the details of the case will come to light.

Ruben Khachatryan stated, “This and similar incidents need to be studied in detail so that we can understand what happened. A professional approach is necessary, as there are several unclear circumstances. For example, I read that one of the men in the photo claimed that the bear attacked, and many people were present in the area. I do not wish to cast doubt on what was said or the incident itself; I hope it will become clear after an investigation. However, it is at least strange that a bear cub would attack people, as they typically do not exhibit such behavior. It would be different if the bear was defending itself, as that changes everything.”
