A Brawl Occurred in Araks Community Involving Multiple Individuals, Shots Fired

On May 30, around 21:30, a brawl broke out among a group of individuals in the Araks community of Armavir Province due to domestic disputes, during which one person sustained bodily injuries and shots were fired. This information was reported by the Investigative Committee.

The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case on charges of hooliganism and illegal possession of weapons, with the preliminary investigation being conducted by the Vagharshapat Investigative Division of the Armavir Regional Investigative Department.

During the preliminary investigation, urgent investigative and procedural actions were carried out, along with initiatives undertaken in coordination with the police, to clarify several circumstances of the incident, including the identity of the individual who fired shots from a firearm.

A forensic examination has been appointed to determine circumstances of significant importance for the criminal case. Several individuals, including participants of the incident, have been interrogated, and some have provided self-incriminating testimonies.

As a measure of restraint for three individuals, a signature not to leave was selected. Actions are being taken to verify the information obtained during the investigation and to locate the firearm used in the crime. Based on the evidence collected, appropriate legal assessments will be made regarding the actions of those involved in the incident.
