Starting Tomorrow, Two More Routes to Resume Operations with New Compact Class Buses
Starting tomorrow, June 1, routes 47 and 24 will resume operations with new compact class buses. Notably, the route for line 47 has been extended from A. Babajanyan Street to Yerablur. This information has been announced by the Yerevan City Hall.
It is worth mentioning that new buses of this class are already operating on four routes in Yerevan (namely 26, 38, 99, and 74).
The service for the routes will be provided by 12 and 7 units respectively, from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, following these paths:
- Route 47: Nubarashen - HAAT - Yerablur.
Nubarashen (initial stop) - 11th, 9th, 6th Streets of Nubarashen - Nubarashen Avenue - Khaghagh Doni - Titogradyan - Ayvazovsky - Erebuni - Muratsan - Rostovyan - Artsakhi - Tigran Mets Avenue - Kristapori Street - Arshakuniats - Bagratuniats Avenues - Sebastia - Raffi - Zor. Andranik - A. Babajanyan - Shahumyan 4th Streets - Yerablur (final stop). - Route 24: Noragugh - Yerevan State Humanities College.
Noragugh (initial stop) - Old Road of Ejmiatsin - Tsov. Isakov Avenue - “Victory” Bridge - Mashtots - Marshal Baghramyan Avenues - Kasyan Street - Komitas Avenue - Shirvanzade - Mamikonyants - Griboedov - Argyutyan - Malhasyants Streets - Yerevan State Humanities College (final stop).
A payment is required upon boarding. The coin receiver only accepts 100 dram coins. If you do not have 100 dram coins, the driver may change them in the initial phase, but it is highly advisable to have 100 dram coins. Soon, an electronic payment system will also be available.
The interior of the bus is under video surveillance for the safety of passengers and general traffic security. Drivers are in specially designated uniforms and have been instructed to refrain from smoking and using their phones while driving.
