New Revision of the Law on Protection of Economic Competition Enters Into Force Today

As of today, the law on amending the "Law on Protection of Economic Competition" dated March 3, 2021, with number HO-92-N, has come into effect, whereby the law has been completely restated.

This information has been reported by the Commission for the Protection of Competition.

Since May 31, 2021, the operational procedures of the Commission for the Protection of Competition have also come into force, detailing the procedures for the implementation of the Commission's functions and authorities.

As a result of the amendment, the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition will henceforth continue to operate as the Competition Protection Commission.
