Ministry of Health Addresses Discrepancies in Casualty Figures
Minutes ago, Arsen Ghukasyan, a relative of one of the missing soldiers, announced live that they are at the morgue on Heratsi Street and that the road has been closed. According to his statement, he identified discrepancies in the figures of fallen soldiers. Approximately 200 bodies were previously unidentified, which have now been accounted for.
In a conversation with Auroranews, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Hripsime Khachatryan, stated that prior to the closure of Heratsi Street, the parents and relatives of the missing soldiers met with the director of the Forensic Medical Center, Mher Bisharyan. He assured them that there can be no discrepancies in the figures—it's absurd, as the numbers are not kept confidential.
It has been decided to provide parents with copies from all the morgues, so that they can familiarize themselves with all the data in a clear and transparent manner. Despite all this, the parents and relatives have decided to take to the streets.
The Ministry spokesperson also added that no parent's question has ever gone unanswered, and they have responded to all inquiries 24/7, doing everything possible to ensure transparency and eliminate doubts among parents.
