‘Homeland’ authorities operate according to Azerbaijani scenario: Gharamyan
The former Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh and a holder of the title ‘Hero of Artsakh’, Arshavir Gharamyan, made a post on his Facebook page stating that those who take pride in our defeat and those who take pride in the Azerbaijani-Turkish victory are following the same scenario.
“According to the operational-intelligence and other sources obtained during and after the April 2016 military operations, the enemy Azerbaijan had at least 1,487 dead soldiers at that time, but officially announced only 34, while several hundred were reported through open sources (let us recall the acceptance of the mothers or wives of those killed by Mehri Bani during those operations, the 93 individuals published by Meydan TV on April 7, 2016, with photographs). Even if we assume that there were duplicate reports about the same enemy casualties, it still turns out that the enemy suffered at least 743 losses at that time.
In 2016, according to the obtained data, Azerbaijani authorities concealed the actual number of casualties from their population for a long time by keeping the bodies in refrigerators at various morgues across the country or conducting secret burials. Presenting our fallen soldiers in the 44-day war today as missing and the discovery of hundreds of bodies in various morgues by their relatives suggests that the ‘homeland’ incompetent, Turkish-affiliated authorities are operating according to Azerbaijani scenarios.
The mere fact that the hundreds of bodies of the fallen have remained in refrigerators for months, neglected, speaks volumes about the inhumane character of the ruling clique in Armenia, which is typical of the enemy’s manual. Thus, it becomes clear that the Nikol administration has been busy for a full 8 months concealing the information regarding the soldiers' deaths and keeping their relatives in an uncertain and anxious state,” Gharamyan wrote.
