Candidates for the First Twenty Positions of LHK's Electoral List Revealed
The 'Enlightened Armenia' party has published the first twenty positions of its electoral list.
1. Edmond Marukyan - Leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the 7th Armenian National Assembly, founder and chairman of the party. Member of the Chamber of Advocates. Master's degree in Human Rights and International Law. Author and co-author of several scientific articles, analytical documents, and reports on human rights.
2. Artyom Geghamyan - Candidate of Legal Sciences, graduate of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, former Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia.
3. Ani Samsonyan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Issues, professional journalist, international relations expert. Master's student in Law at the Armenian State University of Economics.
4. Gevorg Gorgisyan - Member of the 6th and 7th Armenian National Assembly, Secretary of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction. Professionally a programmer.
5. Davit Khajakyan - Head of the 'Light' group in Yerevan's city council, Quality Assurance Specialist at 'Synopsys Armenia', coordinator of the testing team.
6. Karine Ghukasyan - Member of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the Vanadzor city council, Head of the Department of Dental Technology at the Vanadzor State Medical College, Vice-Rector of 'Mkhitar Gosh' University, President of the 'Healthy Life' NGO, professional dentist.
7. Sarik Minasyan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, Chief of the Gyumri Territorial Division of the State Social Security Service from March 2018 to January 2019, Master's degree in Political Science.
8. Levon Martirosyan - Former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Canada, Member of the 5th Armenian National Assembly. Graduate of Essex University Law Faculty, Master's degree in International Law.
9. Srbuhi Grigoryan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, former member of the Sisian city council, lecturer at the Sisian branch of the Armenian National Agrarian University, professional television journalist-linguist.
10. Stepan Stepanyan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, lecturer at the Center for Legal Education and Implementation of Rehabilitation Programs under the Ministry of Justice of Armenia. Professionally a political scientist-international relations expert, PhD candidate in management psychology at the Armenian State University of Economics.
11. Gurgen Baghdasaryan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, former assistant to the head of the Nor-Nork administrative district, Chief Specialist of the Medium-Term Budget Programming Division at the Ministry of Finance and Economics of Armenia in 2004. Professionally an economist.
12. Rouzanna Avagimyan - Member of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, Master's degree in International Business Law from the French University in Armenia, legal and political expert for the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, Secretary of the Liberal School of Politics.
13. Edward Andreasian - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, Chief Specialist of the Urban Development Department of the Armavir Regional Administration in 2019. Professionally an architect.
14. Mkrtich Makaryan - Lawyer, Master's degree from the Armenian State University of Management, Director of 'Mkrtich Makaryan' LLC.
15. Anna Kostanyan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, professional linguist, specialist in English and Persian languages.
16. Grunt Ayvazyan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, Director of the 'Lori Development Center' NGO from 2003 to 2019, member of the regional employment support commission of Lori Province from 2016 to 2018, member of the public council under the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia in 2018. Professionally a mechanical engineer.
17. Arshavir Khachatryan - Class 1 advisor to the civil service, honorary citizen of the city of Davis, California, USA. Professionally an engineer.
18. Anna Tovmasyan - Member of the Youth Union of Armenia, participant of the April Four-Day and 44-Day Wars, medal recipient of the 'Marshal H.K. Baghramyan' and 'Admiral H.S. Isakov' awards, Master's degree from the History Faculty of Yerevan State University, professionally a lawyer-historian.
19. Sargis Aleksanyan - Member of the 7th Armenian National Assembly, information systems specialist, Master's degree in engineering from the Polytechnic University.
20. Norair Karapetyan - Expert engineer at the Territorial Development Fund of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, regional head of the 'Enlightened Armenia' party in Vayots Dzor. Professionally a civil engineer.
