Iran's President Sends Congratulatory Message to Aliyev

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has sent a congratulatory message to Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the country's national day, emphasizing the importance of ties between the two nations and expressing confidence that they will enhance cooperation in various areas.

As reported by the Tansim agency, in the message sent on Friday, Rouhani conveyed his congratulations to the government and people of the "brotherly and friendly" country.

"As two friendly neighbors, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan have formed brotherly relations at a high level since Azerbaijan's independence, relying on historical, cultural, and religious connections," stated Rouhani in his message.

The Iranian president also expressed hope that their countries will strengthen collaboration, develop political, economic, and cultural ties, and deepen regional peace and stability.
