Freight Truck Carrying Several Tons of Cement Collides with Iron Barriers

Today, on May 28, an accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 16:50, 27-year-old Karen Minasyan, a resident of Hrazdan, lost control of his freight truck, a Volvo cement mixer, on the 35th kilometer of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway. The truck veered off the road and collided with the iron barriers of the highway divider, partially ending up in the middle of the road.

According to shamshyan.com, preliminary reports indicate that, fortunately, there were no injuries. Responding promptly to the scene were inspectors Hovhannes Stepanyan and Manuk Hakobyan from the 1st platoon of the 2nd police battalion.

It was revealed that the emergency situation was created by 36-year-old Armen Hakobyan, a resident of Aygevan village, who was driving his Ford vehicle.
