Catholicos to Visit Artsakh for the First Time Since the War
According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," His Holiness Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, will be in Artsakh from June 3 to 6. It is planned that he will hold several meetings in Artsakh, as well as a joint Divine Liturgy with prayers for the peace and prosperity of the two Armenian republics.
It is noteworthy that this will be the Catholicos's first visit to Artsakh after the 44-day war. This time, the visit is made at the level of a spiritual leader. Importantly, since the end of the war, neither Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan nor Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan have visited Artsakh.
