Gabrielyan: Investing in Infrastructure is Important in Syunik and Gegharkunik
It is important to invest in infrastructure in Syunik and Gegharkunik to ensure economic development and a secure environment. This was stated today by former Deputy Prime Minister Vache Gabrielyan during the economic conference of the "Honorary Right" alliance.
"This pertains to the furnishing of borders, roads, and other infrastructure, including digital infrastructure," said Gabrielyan.
He also noted that Syunik is one of the unique regions in Armenia where the number of those seeking work abroad is very small, due to the mining industry, which provides wages comparable to those in Yerevan for the residents of Syunik.
In Gabrielyan's view, these expenses should be prioritized in state finances, creating opportunities for further economic development.
