Mkhitaryan Set to Extend Contract with Roma

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is close to extending his contract with Roma. This was reported by alfredopedulla.com, as confirmed by ArmSport.am.

The parties have already engaged in negotiations. It is expected that the midfielder will extend his contract for another two years. Mkhitaryan's current agreement expires this summer.

Recall that the head coach of the Armenian national team, Joaquin Caparros, today published the list of players called up for the national team, who will participate in friendly matches against Croatia and Sweden. Several key players were absent from the list, including Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Armenian midfielder commented on the issue on his Facebook page, noting that the decision was surprising for him as well.
