UV Radiation Levels Will Be Higher Than Normal: Weather Forecast for the Coming Days

The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Hydromet service warns that the intensity of ultraviolet radiation will be higher than normal. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

In the territory of the Republic, dry weather is expected on May 21 and 25. On May 22 and after midday on the 24th, brief rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in some areas, while most regions will see similar weather on the 23rd. Hail is possible in isolated places.

Winds will be from the southwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s, with gusts expected to reach 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms.

The temperature from May 20-22 will gradually rise by 3-5 degrees. In Yerevan, no precipitation is expected on May 21-22 and May 24-25. Rain and thunderstorms are anticipated after midday on May 23.

During the night of May 21, temperatures in the capital are expected to be between 16-18 degrees, while daytime highs will reach +34 to +36 degrees.
