VIDEO: Who are you blaming, you cannot keep a single document secret. Marukyan to Pashinyan

I do not know who the Prime Minister is blaming; I want to understand who is at fault for the government saying that the document must remain secret while they are negotiating but the document has not remained secret. Now, who are you blaming, you can’t even keep a document secret, people, how will you maintain the borders, how will you resolve these issues?

This was stated by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the LHK, during his speech in the National Assembly regarding the trilateral document on the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

“Yes, the army entered the territory of Armenia, it was stated that we will not tolerate it, we will withdraw through negotiations, but this did not imply new obligations. The next important question is: the document that the Prime Minister accepted today, which he will sign, clearly refers to the November 9 document. I want to ask a question to my esteemed colleagues and to the acting Prime Minister: what about the issue of prisoners of war? Are they not being returned? Why are you negotiating and discussing new things with them that you are going to sign?” he said.

Edmon Marukyan finds it strange that Nikol Pashinyan keeps stating that there are areas in Armenia that belonged to Soviet Azerbaijan. “Why is Pashinyan constantly saying this? He claims that the opposition is providing arguments to Azerbaijan. Is it the opposition giving them, or is it you? I am simply astonished; you have derailed the process. There was one document that you were supposed to negotiate secretly, you could not keep it secret, but you cannot fulfill your functions, and you are pulling your Deputy Foreign Minister here; what kind of public administration system is this?”

Marukyan noted that they are instilling hopelessness in the people by saying that there is a future. According to him, yes, there is a future, this is not the question, but this government has put that in doubt, and it is fighting against it. “You have put this in doubt with your actions.”
