Driver Who Struck 16-Year-Old Appears Before Police After 8 Days

On May 9, around 9:30 PM, an unknown driver hit a 16-year-old on Raffi Street in Vanadzor and fled the scene. The injured teenager was taken to the hospital with bodily injuries.

According to the police, thanks to the efforts and educational work carried out by officers of the Bazum police division, on May 17, a 27-year-old resident of the village of Lernavan came forward and confessed that he was the one who struck the teenager with his "Opel Vectra" on Raffi Street in Vanadzor on May 9. The investigation is ongoing.
