Aliyev will not get his desired corridor, that abandoned corridor, because that road has an owner. Yeghoyan explains his words

Armenian National Assembly member Arman Yeghoyan addressed the recent events in the Syunik region and the topic of the "Zangezur Corridor" in a Facebook post. He specifically wrote:

“On April 20, the President of Azerbaijan declared, ‘We are implementing the Zangezur Corridor, whether Armenia likes it or not. If it wants, this issue can be resolved more easily; if it doesn't want to, we will resolve it by force.’ Three weeks later, an Azerbaijani military unit intruded into the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. Two days later, at a session of the National Assembly on this issue, I said: ‘If we were to yield anything in Syunik to what he (Aliyev) wants, would this incident have happened? It's not being given up, that abandoned corridor he wants, right? Don’t you understand this much? Why did he enter by force? Because he cannot obtain it any other way, and he will not succeed even by force.’

It seemed clear what I meant by referring to ‘that abandoned corridor.’ Although the Azerbaijani side has not officially raised any corridor issue in the negotiations so far, Azerbaijani Telegram channels and the forces disseminating their content in Armenia are engaged in this matter. These same forces distort the true meaning of what I said with their unlimited financial and media resources. The meaning is very simple: Aliyev will not get the corridor he desires, that abandoned corridor, because the road he wants to establish a corridor through has an owner.”
