A document has just been published online, which everyone is talking about—the agreement that Prime Minister Pashinyan is set to sign.

It is a joint statement by the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia.

1. To enhance efforts aimed at establishing peace, stability, and security in the region, a joint commission will be established regarding the demarcation of the state border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, following the statements of the leaders of the three countries dated November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021.

2. Within the framework of the commission, the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia will form national delegations by May 31, 2021.

3. The Government of the Russian Federation will form a national delegation by May 31, 2021, to provide advisory assistance to the commission.

4. The delegations will be headed by specially authorized representatives appointed in accordance with the national legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, and the Russian Federation.

5. The commission will hold its first meeting by June 30, 2021, based on the results of which it will compile a list of main directions and operational procedures, as well as establish the composition of expert groups from officials of competent authorities and organizations.

6. The expert groups will present a list of actions within their jurisdiction within one month following the commission’s meeting.

7. All issues related to the proper implementation of this statement and the goals of the commission's work will be resolved exclusively through political and diplomatic means, in accordance with the agreement.

There are also reports that the new document will be signed today at 16:00. In particular, Azerbaijani user Elchin Efendi posted on his Facebook stating that the signing of the trilateral document announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will indeed take place today at 16:00. Moreover, at 17:00, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, will go live from the Niyazmi Gyandzavi International Center, which will be broadcasted on Facebook and YouTube.
