Video: 149 Injured, Two Dead Following Stage Collapse
219 people have been injured and two have died as a result of the collapse of the stage at a synagogue in Givat Zeev, located on the western bank of the Jordan River. This was reported by Ynet.
According to doctors, the majority of the injured are in stable condition, but 15 of those affected are in serious condition. Ynet notes that the synagogue's stage had been temporarily constructed for the Shavuot celebration. At the time of the collapse, hundreds of people were present on the stage.
The collapse occurred on Sunday evening, May 16. Two people have died: a 12-year-old boy and a 40-year-old woman. Following the collapse, it was revealed that the synagogue's construction had not been completed and did not have an operational permit, as reported by Interfax.
