VIDEO. 13-Story Building in Gaza Reduced to Rubble, 130 Rockets Launched
Air raid sirens have sounded in Tel Aviv, alerting residents to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. As reported by a correspondent from RIA Novosti, dozens of rockets have been launched toward Tel Aviv.
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas radical movement controlling the Gaza Strip, announced on Tuesday the launch of 130 rockets aimed at Tel Aviv and its surroundings, according to the Palestinian news portal Donia Al-Watan.
Israeli Air Force forces destroyed a thirteen-story residential building in Gaza City on the evening of May 11, as reported to RIA Novosti by an eyewitness.
“Israeli military aircraft destroyed the Hanadi thirteen-story residential building in Gaza this evening. Earlier, the building's administrator had received a call informing them that the Israeli Air Force intended to bomb the building,” the eyewitness stated.
They added that all residents of that and neighboring buildings had evacuated their homes out of fear of destruction.
On the evening of May 10, the Al-Qassam Brigades threatened to bomb Tel Aviv if Israel targeted residential buildings in the Gaza Strip.
