Lukashenko to Meet Putin for the Third Time This Year
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is set to visit Russia at the end of May for a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, as reported by sources from Kommersant in Moscow and Minsk.
Kommersant's sources link the frequency of the meetings to the intention of Russia and Belarus to complete work on all integration "roadmaps" by autumn.
It is worth noting that on May 9, the press service of the Belarusian president also announced the upcoming meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin: "The presidents have agreed to meet soon to discuss the issues facing both countries," the statement said.
The exact date and location of the meeting have not yet been disclosed, but reports suggest that this could be the third meeting between the two presidents this year, possibly occurring at the end of May.
