Arthur Aivazyan (Monk) Declares Hunger Strike, Lawyer Reports

Following the protest held in Syunik yesterday, Arthur Aivazyan (Monk) has been detained and has declared a hunger strike today. This was stated by his lawyer Ara Zakaryan in a conversation with Tert.am.

"By going on a hunger strike, he demands his release, as the detention was conducted unlawfully," said Ara Zakaryan. The lawyer also informed that the detention order has been appealed by them.
