VIDEO: Illegal Weapons and Drugs Discovered in a House in Shahumyan Village

On May 12, operational information was received at the Artashat police department that a 28-year-old man was keeping illegal weapons and drugs at his residence in one of the houses in Shahumyan village. A criminal case was initiated, and based on the decision of the first instance court of general jurisdiction of Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions, a search was conducted at the young man’s residence.

During the search, a swine knife, an "IZH" type rifle, a double-barreled shotgun barrel, a firearm stock, and packages resembling marijuana were found. The young man also presented an "IZH" type rifle during the search. The illegal weapons and substances resembling drugs were confiscated, and expert examinations have been appointed. The circumstances are being clarified.
