Three More Hospitalized in Sisian
As of May 14, one patient has been discharged from the Sisian Medical Center. On the same day, a home visit resulted in the identification of 32 residents exhibiting gastrointestinal symptoms, of which 3 have been hospitalized. This information was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
In the Sisian community, a total of 402 cases showing signs characteristic of gastrointestinal infections have been recorded. Among these individuals, 373 are under 18 years old, while 29 are adults. All patients have displayed symptoms typical of gastrointestinal infectious diseases since the onset of the outbreak.
Currently, there are 9 patients in the Sisian Medical Center, and their condition is assessed as satisfactory with positive progress. Continuous water sampling is being conducted. The research has indicated an improvement in water quality; however, in certain areas, the water quality still does not meet established standards.
