Stabbing in Lori Province: 19-Year-Old Arrested
The investigation into a case of intentionally causing severe harm to health has been completed at the Lori regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, as reported by the information and public relations department of the RA Investigative Committee.
It has been established during the investigation that on January 9, 2021, a 19-year-old resident of the village of Mraghavit in Lori province, during an argument over the semi-nude photos of a familiar man’s girlfriend stored on his mobile phone, deliberately struck the familiar man with a sharp cutting tool in various parts of his body, causing serious bodily harm.
Based on sufficient evidence collected, the 19-year-old has been charged under the first part of Article 112 of the RA Criminal Code (intentionally causing severe harm to health). He has been detained as a preventive measure.
The investigation has been completed, and the criminal case, with an accusatory conclusion, has been sent to the prosecutor responsible for overseeing the legality of the investigation.
