Milan Offered Mkhitaryan's Services
Agent Mino Raiola has offered a new option to strengthen the forward line to Milan during the summer transfer window. This news is reported by armsport.am.
According to Sempremilan, while negotiating Gianluigi Donnarumma's contract, Raiola brought up the possibility of transferring Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Roma. The Armenian national team player could leave the Roman club as his contract expires on June 30.
The former star of Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal may decide to move to another club in Italy, but if he cannot find an alternative, the 32-year-old player will have to sign a new contract with Roma. The automatic contract renewal will extend for two more seasons, as outlined in one of the clauses of the agreement with the Roman club.
According to the source, Milan could be an ideal solution, as Mkhitaryan would become Pioli's main attacking midfielder. Much will depend on Jose Mourinho, but the new coach of Roma did not have a great relationship with Mkhitaryan during their time together at Manchester United.
Earlier, Italian media circulated rumors that Juventus was also interested in Mkhitaryan's services.
