Ararat Resident Arrested for Burning Advertising Banner with Gasoline-soaked Cloth

On May 9, at 01:05, the Ararat Fire and Rescue Service reported to the Ararat police department that a fire was occurring at an advertising banner on Shahumyan Street in the city of Ararat. Police operatives from the Ararat department quickly responded to the scene.

As a result of the measures taken, on May 13, a 52-year-old resident of Ararat was taken into custody on suspicion of intentionally destroying property. It was determined that on May 9, around 00:30, he had set fire to the advertising banner on Shahumyan Street using a gasoline-soaked cloth.

Circumstances are being investigated. An inquiry is underway.
