Azerbaijanis Dismantling Tents to Leave Ishkhanasar; Russians Also Negotiating
According to Irakanum.am, Azerbaijanis are currently dismantling their tents near the Sevan Lake in Ishkhanasar, which they had set up overnight, in order to leave the area. Sources indicate that the Azerbaijanis advanced during the night, seeing that there was no one from the Armenian side in the designated area. They set up their tents and announced plans to carry out technical work.
The source of the media has denied reports of firefights, injuries, and gunfire, stating that at that moment there was no one from the Armenian side in defensive positions, which allowed the Azerbaijanis to advance.
Today, Russian peacekeepers went to negotiate with the Azerbaijanis. We have learned that the Armenian side is currently waiting for the Azerbaijanis to leave so that they can establish a presence in that area. Regarding reports that the adversary has advanced in different directions, our source stated that Lake Sevan stretches up to Sisian, thus incorrect information has been circulated about advances in various directions. There were also reports that the adversary advanced towards Gorayk, which was denied by the village mayor Ashot Agajanian. 'We are currently in a meeting and everything is normal here; there is no information about any advance. Gorayk is a border area adjacent to Nakhichevan and Kelbajar, and everyone is stationed at their positions,' he said.
Information about gunfire, injuries, tense situations, and fierce battles was also denied by the mayor of Kapan during our conversation.
