During the escalation of conflict in Gaza over three days, 83 people have been reported dead, according to the enclave's Ministry of Health, as reported by korrespondent.net.
“The number of casualties from Israeli airstrikes in Gaza has reached 83 over three days, including 17 children and 7 women,” said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qidra.
According to the latest data, 7 people have been reported dead in Israel. It is known that Israeli military officials are working on several options for ground operations against the Hamas group, but no decision has yet been made on this matter.
It is worth recalling that in Jerusalem, tensions began on May 7. Clashes between Arab youth and the police erupted on the evening of May 8 and continued to spread around the Temple Mount and Al-Aqsa Mosque area. These tensions reached their peak on May 10, when Jews celebrate Jerusalem Day.
Since the beginning of the clashes, more than 1,600 rockets have been fired from Gaza towards Israel. Of these, 850 rockets crossed into Israeli territory, and another 200 fell in the Gaza Strip.
