The Start and End Dates of the Election Campaign are Announced

The election campaign for the snap parliamentary elections in Armenia will commence on June 7 and will last until June 18 at 24:00. This decision was made during the May 11 meeting of the Central Election Commission.

The schedule of key activities for the preparation and conduct of the snap elections to the National Assembly, set for June 20, 2021, was presented by CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan. He stated, 'The campaign period will start from June 7, 2021, and will continue until June 18 at 24:00. The deadline for candidates, parties, or member parties of alliances to submit their declarations of withdrawal is until June 10 at 18:00.'

The formation of electoral precincts will take place by May 26, 2021, and political parties, as well as party alliances, must submit documents for registration to the CEC no later than 25 days before the voting day by 18:00, that is, by May 26 at 18:00.

The registration period for electoral lists of political parties and party alliances is set for May 26 to May 30. The voter lists will be posted in visible locations at the precinct centers on May 31.
