Palestine Reports 20 Casualties Due to Airstrikes

The number of casualties from Israeli airstrikes targeting the Gaza Strip has risen by 20, including nine children and one woman, as reported by the Palestinian Minister of Health, Ashraf al-Qidra, to RIA Novosti.

Previously, the health ministry had reported nine fatalities. "A total of 20 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, including nine children and one woman. Additionally, 65 people have been injured," al-Qidra stated.

Earlier, military sources indicated that dozens of rockets had been launched from Israeli territory towards the Gaza Strip, most of which landed in open areas or were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system. In response, Israeli military forces began targeting Hamas facilities.
