Deputy Head of Kentron Administrative District Beats an Employee; Journalists Not Allowed Inside the Municipality

Today, employees of the Kentron Municipality reported to journalists that the deputy mayor had an altercation with one of the staff members and assaulted him. Currently, a Tert.am reporter is outside the Kentron Municipality, but following the instruction of Mayor Avet Poghosyan, journalists are not allowed to enter.

The media outlet attempted to confirm details about the incident with Avet Poghosyan, but his phone was turned off. Zarzand Gabrielyan, the head of the Police Media Relations Department, stated that the police received a call reporting that a brawl had taken place at the municipality. Police officers are currently at the scene to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
