We No Longer Have the Right to Seek Savers and Lords: Gorgisyan

The time has come for choice, and each of us must find the courage within ourselves to reach the polling station, enter the voting booth, and be alone with our conscience, because this choice will be one of conscience and responsibility. This was stated by Gevorg Gorgisyan, secretary of the LHK faction, during a speech at the National Assembly.

“We are often asked, ‘Who should we choose?’ We should not choose whom, but what; we should choose an idea, a program, because our people no longer need lords. Only by uniting around an idea and taking on the most serious burden of responsibility with meticulous discipline can we build our bright future. To achieve unity, we must choose for the sake of, not against,” said Gorgisyan.

According to the MP, for years the Armenian people have delegated their rights and created wealth to people who have privatized them, returned only a miserable part of it, and presented themselves as benefactors, saviors. “We have entrusted them with the future of our homeland, but in return, we have only received disappointment. We no longer have the right to seek savers and lords. The time has come that we can reclaim our freedom and dignity through our choice,” he emphasized.
