The acting Prime Minister and candidate for Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, considers managing hostility with Turkey a necessity. He made this statement during a special session of the Parliament in response to a question from independent MP Sergey Bagratyan.

“Turkey is our enemy, which is also our neighbor. Today, only superpowers have enemies outside their regions. We say that, at long last, it is time to acknowledge that this enmity needs to be managed because, when it flares up, it can lead to an explosion at any moment,” said Pashinyan.
