No Decision Yet on the RHCP-'Homeland' Alliance Electoral List, Discussions Ongoing: Eduard Sharmazanov

No decision has been made yet regarding the electoral list of the RHCP-'Homeland' alliance, discussions are ongoing. This was stated today by the spokesperson of the RHCP, Eduard Sharmazanov, during a conversation with journalists in the ‘Victory’ park, noting that they will announce the decision when it is made.

In response to a journalist's remark that the president of the 'Homeland' party, Arthur Vanetsyan, declared his opposition to the return of former officials, Sharmazanov responded, “The former is Nikol (Pashinyan), and I share Vanetsyan’s views on this. Look at how many former officials are in his team, many of whom were in office before you were even born. Today, we are going to the elections with the aim of fighting against this nation-destructive regime and these capitulators. We believe that our alliance can operate effectively in the national-conservative sphere. We also have ideological commonalities; both parties advocate for national values and support a pro-Armenian solution to the Artsakh issue.”

“The 'Homeland' party has been part of all opposition formats over the past 1.5 years. Let’s remember the format of the ARF-BHK-'Homeland', let’s recall the format of 2017, and the Homeland Salvation Movement, as well as the format of 2006 with Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan, Arthur Vanetsyan, Gagik Tsarukyan, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, and Vasken Manukyan,” he added.
