Photo: Car Overturned in River in Askeran City

On May 8, the 911 call center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that a car had overturned in the river flowing through the territory of Askeran city. This was announced by the Emergency Situations Service of Artsakh.

In order to provide assistance, rescuers from the Askeran Regional Division swiftly arrived at the scene. It was discovered that 21-year-old A.M. had lost control of his 'Mitsubishi Montero' vehicle on the road that crosses the river, leading from the city sports field to the adjacent gardens. His 70-year-old grandmother, Sh.G., was also in the car.

The rescuers used special technical equipment to extract the individuals from the vehicle and provided them with first aid. Their health condition is reported to be satisfactory.
