Gunfire Resembling a War Movie in Yerevan: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

Today, May 8, gunfire erupted in Yerevan. Between 06:30 and 07:30, the operational management center of the Yerevan police department received a call reporting gunfire on Moldovan Street in the Nor Nork administrative district.

According to Shamshyan.com, the first deputy chief of police, Colonel Aram Hovhannisyan, arrived at the scene. Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Yerevan police who arrived at the scene discovered a man's body near the first and third buildings on Moldovan Street.

At the scene, shell casings from an automatic weapon and an unidentified pistol were found, along with blood-like stains.

A Mercedes T 500 vehicle was also located, inside which a bit was discovered. According to G. Shamshyan's reports, one individual has been hospitalized with bodily injuries from the scene.

The police and investigative department are working to identify the deceased and the injured.
