Identity of the Murder Victim on Moldovan Street Revealed: Investigative Committee Provides Details
On May 8, 2021, at 07:25, a report was received at the Nor Nork Division of the Police of the Republic of Armenia regarding a man born in 1982 being transported with gunshot wounds from the "Heratsi No. 1" hospital complex in Yerevan.
This was reported by the Investigative Committee. Following the incident, an investigative-operational group was dispatched to the scene. The examination revealed the body of a man born in 1984 at the intersection of D. Malyan and Moldovan streets, with round gunshot injuries on the front surface of the chest and the rear surface angle of the left half of the chest, as well as scratches on the right temporal region. Additionally, 4 cartridges of 7.62 mm caliber, 2 bullets, 5 shell casings, 2 cartridges from 9 mm caliber gas pistols, and 1 submachine gun magazine were found.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Investigative Division of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan, with the investigative group tasked to carry out preliminary investigations. Several examinations have been designated. Necessary investigative and procedural actions are being conducted to clarify all circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify the person(s) suspected of committing the crime.
