Mikael Minasyan Launches Anti-Nikol Movement to Warn Supporters of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan
Former Ambassador of Armenia to the Vatican, Mikael Minasyan, announced on his Facebook page the launch of an Anti-Nikol movement under the slogan “For the Last Armenian Who Is Still Deceived.” He emphasizes that the purpose of this movement is to explain to the supporters of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that he is a disaster and deadly.
In his post, Minasyan states: “As you know, my team and I do not take part in current political processes. The reason is simple: our fight is for Armenia, for our people, and for the future of the last person who is still deceived. We firmly believe that the elections organized by Nikol are not a way out of the situation, but in the current circumstances, it is our duty to explain and warn our deceived compatriots that choosing Nikol means choosing death, depriving their children of a future, and of their homeland.”
“Today we are launching an Anti-Nikol movement. This movement has one aim: to explain to the supporters of Nikol that he is a disaster. He is deadly. The movement will not support any political force nor become part of any coalition. This is a movement for salvation and the future that has one message: Armenia has no future with Nikol; he is the one who kills our brothers, makes Armenian mothers childless, widows women, and orphans children.”
“And if part of the people is still deceived, we need to open their eyes. This must become a people’s movement for the people. This movement will belong to no one and will be for everyone. For all those who do not want to tolerate a capitulating mutant at the helm of the country, because it is a matter of dignity. The message of the movement is: choose anyone you want, except Nikol.”
He outlines the vision of the movement as follows:
- Reason: Nikol is an evil.
- Objective: Remove Nikol from power and politics.
- Challenge: Explain to people that Nikol has deceived and betrayed them for his personal narrow interests.
- Method: Establish the ANTI-NIKOL movement to transcend political and pre-election struggle.
Minasyan stresses that all citizens of Armenia, who are going to the elections, have the opportunity to choose any force, except Nikol, fully realizing that choosing Nikol is unforgivable by both this and any other world's laws. He calls for the organization of the ANTI-NIKOL (#antinikol) movement, which will encompass all those who consider Nikol a lesser evil than anything else. “I will devote myself every day to this effort and will publish the rules of the self-organizing horizontal movement in the coming days. This is a liberation movement. Join us. #antinikol”
