Accident on Stepanakert-Dhrambon Road: One Injured

On May 7, the alert center of the Martakert regional department of the State Emergency Service received simultaneous reports from the police duty unit regarding a traffic accident on the Stepanakert-Dhrambon highway at the 12th kilometer. This was reported by the Emergency Service of Artsakh.

A fire and rescue team from the Arajadzor Fire Department was dispatched to the scene to provide assistance. Road police officers were working on-site.

It was revealed that a 33-year-old driver from the Armavir region of Armenia, identified as A.F., lost control of his 'Kia Sorento' vehicle, which left the roadway and fell into a gorge. Rescuers extracted the driver from the gorge with bodily injuries, provided first aid, and urgently transported him to the military hospital in Stepanakert. According to information from doctors, his health condition is assessed as satisfactory.
