411 New Cases of Coronavirus Infection Reported; 16 Deaths in One Day

As of May 8, 2021, Armenia has confirmed 411 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 219,092.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, 16 citizens have died due to the coronavirus in one day, increasing the total death toll to 4,225.

Additionally, there were 2 cases of patients with coronavirus who died from other illnesses within the same day. As of May 8, the total number of these death cases has reached 1,038.

In one day, 814 individuals have recovered from the virus, making the total number of recoveries 204,121. The number of active cases currently being treated stands at 9,708, which has decreased by 421 in just one day.

Over the past day, 4,231 tests were conducted, bringing the total number of tests performed to date to 1,012,538.
