Police Disrupt Movements and Filming of Tert.am and News.am Journalists in Yerablur

On May 9, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Yerablur Pantheon on the occasion of Victory Day. Tert.am journalist Ani Gevorgyan posed a question from a distance, asking what conscience he has when coming to Yerablur and what feelings he experiences here. However, members of his security team did not allow her to approach the acting prime minister.

“Leave me alone,” said the journalist, while Pashinyan's press secretary Mane Gevorgyan added, “Ani, can we talk to him for a moment?” In response to Ani Gevorgyan's question to the police officer about why another media outlet was being allowed while they were not, the officer stated that they were performing their duties: “Contact the relevant authorities.”

Shortly after, individuals in civilian clothing, including those in sportswear, prevented the journalist from moving in another direction. Ani Gevorgyan noted that they were obstructing her professional activities and even her freedom of movement.
